personal summary
I have a love for all things design history, with a focus on modern, mid-century, and Art Deco design. My journey in the design world began while taking industrial design classes, which coincided with my role as a General Manager at Mod Livin', a premier retail space dedicated to mid-century furnishings and designs. This experience deepened my appreciation for this aesthetic but, most importantly, enhanced my knowledge of the history of design. This catapulted my interest in pursuing a career in curatorial studies focusing on the decorative arts. In 2020, I was accepted into the Parsons Graduate Program. Still, I chose to blend my passion for design with my enthusiasm for technology, aiming to merge these fields to address urgent challenges.

During my tenure at Mod Livin', I attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York for two consecutive years. This exposure to a global contemporary design platform fueled my passion for collecting unique pieces. My collection journey has been a blend of primarily personal satisfaction, but I'm always pursuing estate sales and auctions to acquire and sell. I began selling at the Alameda Flea Market in California while taking some time away from tech. This venue became a perfect creative outlet for me to connect with fellow design enthusiasts from the Bay Area and beyond, selling and sharing stories behind each carefully curated piece.
